RARE Art Deco FIGURAL NORITAKE Smoking Set LADY Cigarette Jar, Tray and Ash Pot:

This is a stunning and rare Noritake Figural smoking set from the Art Deco Era. While I have sold several Tobacco and dressing table related tray sets made by Noritake in the past,this is only the second one of this type that I\'ve seen. I conclude that it is therefore rare.
All pieces are unmarked which is not unusual for items imported into Australia during this period. Apparently, importing agents had agreements with the Noritake factory to supply unmarked merchandise because buyers were \'sensitive\'about products from certain sources. Most of the fancy lustreware I\'ve handled over the years has been unmarked.
Size: Lady Jar - 5.75\" Tray - 7.5\" long and the little ashtray is 1.75\" tall x 3\" across the top (including the cigarette lip)
Condition:The Lady Jar is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The little ashtray is also in excellent condition.There is a shallow, sliver chip from the edge of the tray as can be seen in the last picture.
A charming and unusual set!
