Being offered is a beautiful and rare Belleek 1st Period (1865-1889) porcelain basket. This piece is marked \"BELLEEK\" and \"CO FERMANAGH\" on two pads on the three strand base. The basket measures about 5\" in diameter and sits 2 1/2\" at it\'s tallest. The condition is excellent for it\'s age with only two small losses on the flowers (see pictures 2 & 3 ). The porcelain has an iridescence and the work is very fine. A beautiful and important example of early Belleek porcelain baskets for your consideration.
