Offered here a superb and very impressive Capodimonte figure group named

"SERVICE STATION"

by the very talented and extremely popular artist Tiziano Galli

Crafted in porcelain this figure group depicts a young boy and girl riding upon a donkey. They have stopped at the Service Station (Stazione di Servizi) to have there donkey's shoe replaced by the blacksmith.

He looks most bemused as the boy reach's down to give him his payment!

It's a lovely fun piece and very unusual. Superbly detailed with a real sense of comedy! Typical of Galli's comical works.

This is a good sized group measuring 26cm across and 24cm high.

Condition:

A loss to the donkeys lower back leg. Losses to two of the boys fingers. As this is such a fussy piece these points are easily overlooked and take little away.

This a rare item, please don't miss out!
