Covers rubbed and edgeworn, chip to head of spine, hinges & several signatures cracked open, a few pages have minor soil at margins, still clean & complete, if in need of a rebind. The text is in good condition, the binding is what is suffering here.Front cover has title and Confederate Flag, both somewhatfaded. Title on spine is faded.

Introductorychapters on Hickory, North Carolina and Catawba County. Detailed biographicalinformation on each soldier, with photo if available. Dates of enlistment,battles and areas served, captured, killed, still living, etc.
