First Edition. Published in Philadelphia in 1887 by the author and printed by Burke & McFetridge, Lith. Illustrated with 87 vibrant full page chromolithographs of the Flags. The book measures 11.5\" x 15.5\". Half-bound in leather over dark pebbled boards with gilt stamped titles. Marbled endpapers and paste-downs. The book is in very good condition. Light wear to the boards with scuffed corners. The leather at the spine is rubbed and worn, with a crack at the front joint. The contents are surprisingly clean and bright, the binding remains tight.
