This is a beautiful Italian leather and canvas purse by Dooney & Bourke from their Alto Collection. Unfortunately, this classic style is retired and is no longer available. Another like it would be hard to come by (particularly in this near mint condition!) It has navy leather with white contrast top stitched trim/handles/tassel and cut sides of leather are dyed a deep red or burgundy color. There is a navy and white canvas panel in the front and back. Despite its overall measurements, it is quite roomy. The large center opening closes securely via a magnetic snap. It is lined in navy and has one zippered compartment for smaller items. Metal feet protect the bottom. I\'m afraid I forgot to photograph the inside of the purse but please be assured that it is immaculate. Please note that these early bags carry the leather \"Dooney & Bourke Made in Italy\" tag inside but do not have the engraved serial numbers of the bags made elsewhere. Also, I have lost the hang tag. Otherwise, this purse is perfect and would make a timeless addition to your collection. It will never go out of style.
