Very rare Cal State Long Beach 49ersat Hawaii Rainbowscomplete football game on DVD. Game was played on September 17, 1983 in Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, HI. Long Beach and Hawaiicontinued their tradition of playing really close gamesin the islands. Both teams mixed the passing and running games up well, but Long Beach State sealed this one 23-21 in a game that could have gone either way. The game was exciting and very physical with lots of scoring, big plays. Please note: This is one of the rare games we have that was sourced from film of both teams, so it is a mix of color and black and white - about 80% color and 20% b&w.

The game was converted to DVD from the original game film. It is not taken from a television broadcast so be aware of the following: 1) There is no audio - this is game film; 2) The game is not displayed in sequence - this is game film; 3) The quality is good but not flawless - this is game film!!! I have attached a couple of screen shots of the actual game. The DVD you receive is playable on all devices - computer or DVD player. Most game film was typically processed into 5 reels of 16mm film. 2 films are labeled \"Offense\", 2 films are labeled \"Defense\", and the final reel is Kicking and Special Teams. The DVD presents your game just as the films come out of the can. Imay beable to sequence the game for you, however it is very time consuming and expensive.
