this is a RARE Ferock Pottery Vase Art Pottery Roseville Weller Zanesville...very rare... it was made by Frank Ferrel a potter with a long Ohio art pottery career...he worked for Weller Pottery from 1897 to 1905 and then formed Ferock from around 1905 to around 1918. In 1918 he began a long career designing pottery for Roseville until 1954. He also worked for JB Owens and Peters and Reed, other Zanesville area Potteries. A piece of Ferock came up for sale in 2012 and sold for $2760. This piece is smaller but no less rare. I have tried to show it as completely as possible showing the design as well as a line that looks like it happened in manufacture and is far less visible in real life than in the photo( I tried to show it completely as to not hide it).. this was found at an estate sale in New York and I am putting at a very low reserve considering the only price I have seen for another piece was much higher...if anyone has other information I would love to hear it as I have done research and even had Christies sale house involved and very little information about Ferock as its own pottery was found...if you have any questions or need additional photos please contact me... let the photos serve as part of the description
