Schiebler & Co. New York Citycirca 1876-1910in the form of an Art Nouveau Compote.In 35 years of estate buying this is the largest George W. Schiebler sterling silver piece I have had.I think the condition is very good for its age but naturallyhas been used and enjoyed showing some age evident wear. There area fewminor dings and about mid way up the stem is a crease were it may have been bent at some period of time. It is noticeable about 3/4s away around the stem, the stem and compoteare strong and this did not seem to have weaken the pieceat all. This should be a minor repair if one so chooses to do so.
