I had this rare and gorgeous ring listed as 8-9 KTs but the ring turns out to possess approx. 18 Karats Carats GENUINE emerald cut TOURMALINE GEMSTONE!

First, I must say none of the photos actually show the intense BEAUTY OF THIS GOLD/TOURMALINE ring! The ring is even more intensely beautiful than any ofthe photos!!

Thisamazing rare ring is stamped 18CT and looks to have been sized at one time as there is a small metal \"stretcher\" inserton base of ring band, please see all photos!

This beauty measures an approx. size 7 1/2 and is composed of both yellow and white gold which could be platinum inthisexquisitely elaborate ART DECOsetting. The design of this ring is absolutely amazing and total beauty and artistry.

The condition is magnificent considering the age - there are some surface scratches on the tourmaline gemstone but can only be seen by magnification. I found A FEW very minor flea bites on the facets of the stone but again, only under a jeweler\'s magnifier can these imperfections be seen. The wear and age factor contribute to the minor flaws of the gorgeous tourmaline and the tourmaline\'s size is approx. 1 inch by 1/2\" - that\'s a huge gemstone!! The minor age related stone imperfections first of all can only be seen with a jeweler\'s loop and according to the jeweler/gemologist have no impact on the value of the stone...it is totally VALUABLE AND RARE.

I had the ring examined, yesterday, 3/4/2014,by the head of the jewelry department at GEORGE THOMPSON DIAMOND STORE in Camarillo, CA and he verified the top top quality genuine and rare, CHROME GREEN HUGE9 - 10 PLUS KT TOURMALINE GEMSTONE AND 18 KT gold setting.

The gold designer ring band is pretty near PERFECTION! Almost no scratches to any metal, no bangs or dents, really exquisite considering this is an antique!

This ring was appraised years ago, about 20 years, by Butterfield and Butterfield forsale AND the appraiser asked outright if she could buy it from me! I kept the lovely ring until now!!

From top to bottom, the FACE OF THE RING measures approx. an entire inch TALL! That\'s a huge chunk of genuine chrome green tourmaline. The jeweler at G. Thomson\'s Diamond shop had a gemstone caliper that only went up to 6 KT and he said the stone is easily9 - 10 KT or more!! You will not find a size gemstone today like this size at this price....I will consider all reasonable offers...so go ahead, give it a GO!! MAKE OFFERS.
