For sale is a rare Gorham figural MORNING GLORY pattern sugar spoon. The spoon is 7 inches long and weighs 33 grams. The spoon has a gilded bowl with applied leaves at the joint, a tubular reeded handle and a 3D figural morning glory blossom with leaves at the top. It is monogrammed “SSE / June 28th, 1880” on the back of the bowl. The spoon is marked with the Gorham trademark and “STERLING”.

Condition on the spoon is good. The stem is slightly wavy and there is wear to the gold wash in the bowl, as well as the normal signs of use. A fine Victorian figural spoon
