This sale is for a VERY RARE Green Double Oreo Union Photo Case Berg 3-451a Top and 3-452a Bottom with 2 Tintypes of Union Civil War Soldiers from the 16th Infantry.

One is showing his First Sargent stripes. Both are wearing Kepi\'s with 16th Infantry insignia. They have gold gilt added to the buttons and insignia.

This is listed as case #3-451a Top and 3-452a Bottom (VR)for Very Rare in Dr. Paul K. Berg\'s 2nd edition of 19th Century Photographic Cases and Wall Frames.Page 294.

The case has normal wear on both sides. It has some chips on the bottom portion, but still display very well. All of this can be seen in the photos.
