This is an extremely RARE Metal Gear Solid collector\'s item! Great for use as a case or an awesome display piece for your collection!
An official 2011 product collaboration between GUILD Design and Konami Digital Entertainment, this \'military grade\' aluminum iPhone 4 case features stunning Solid Snake art by designer Yoshi Shinkawa. The case issecurelyheld together by foursmall screws in each corner (requires alan wrench to install), and includes a headphone jack plug featuring the Kojima Productions fox logo.
I first came across this item at San Diego Comic-Con 2012 at the Konami merchandise booth. According to the sales clerk there, only 480 cases in this line were manufactured in Japan total, and only 160 of them were imported for sale in the U.S. They imported 40 each of four available styles (two different artwork prints on two different case colors). Only 120 cases of this style exist in the world, and only 40 in the United States!
CONDITION NOTES: This case has been used. It is intact and in good condition but it does have several visible marks, scratches, and other signs of wear. It comes with the original box packaging and instructions. It does not come with the alan wrench tool required to open it. It is also missing most of the thin gel paddingpiecesthat were originally used to apply between the case and the phone.
