This beautiful German-made porcelain decorative plate measures 16 cm (approx. 6-1/4\") in diameter and has a hanging loop on the back. It is one of a series of twelve plates (one for each month) designed by Ole Winther, whose signature appears on both the front design and on the back. This is the July plate, which features a lark flying up from a flower pot of orange poppies. The plate is in excellent condition, with no chips, scrapes or loss of the beautiful and colorful design on the front. The back also is in excellent condition, but has three small rust stains on the unglazed raised foot of the plate (see photos).Whether your passion is birds, flowers, or just beautiful design, you will want to add this plate to your collection.
