Up for the sale is a rare beautiful antique19th century Edo period patinated bronze koro (incense burner) in a form of a mythical beast qilin.
Finely cast with beautiful and exquisite details of his head and body. Has an incisedmokko- shaped lid with a lotuslotus bud finial (see pictures).
Very fine and rarepiece- just look at the pictures!
The incense burnermeasures 12.5\" (35.6 cm) high and weighs 4 lb 7 oz (2010 gram).
Condition: very good antique condition with no damages or imperfections aside repair to the tail (see pictures). Good othervise. Please, consider the very old age of the piece.Please, use the picturesas a part of the conditionreport!
This bronze koro makes a beautiful display and will beavaluable addition to any collection!
