253. Up for your consideration is a RARE splendid LITHOPHANE Tea Cup & Saucer, featuring the portrait of Queen Alexandra, issued to commemorate the Coronation of King Edward VII on June 26, 1902.

Wow! Tea cup and saucer are white bone china and the cup features a lithophane portrait of Her Majesty when held to the light.There are hand-painted details on the crown.Trimmed in gold and unmarked, see photos.

Measurements: Tea cup is about 3” tall and 2 3/4” across the rim. Saucer is 5 1/4” in diameter and almost 1” deep.

This great set has wear on the gold trim and has a chip and a repaired chip on the bottom, see photos, but this doesn’t detract from its beauty. From a non-smoking home.
