RARE LARGE ANTIQUE RUSSIAN DUNGEON OR JAIL LOCK AND MATCHING KEY:

Fantastic old Russian lock. It has some pitting and corrosion. I did not attempt to clean it. It looks like there has been some scraping on it in a couple of places. The key has a little bit broken off of it. It doesn\'t hamper the opening and closing of the lock. Has a maker emblem of a CROWN with letters I can\'t quite make out. See photoNBAHA and under that looks like VY then an upside down V then a K or an R then an OThe lock is 4 1/2\" and the key is 4 1/4\" the lock weighs 1 lb 4 oz\'s and key weighs 4 oz\'s. It is solid and works great.The key and keyhole are really intricate match.
The gaps you see in the photos are not cracks or breaks it is just the crude hammering of the piece. This is at least from the 1800\'s if not older.
