This is one of the Rare of the Rare Soda Bottles for any soda bottle collector or Historian of the Death of President Kennedy back on that fateful November 1963 day. Here in Laurens S.C. is where the 2400 bottle order went in from Lyndon B Johnson for a party that was to be held in Texas the evening of November 22, 1963. These were to be filled with Canada Dry (ginger ale and/or sparkling water) This was to be honoring President Kennedy and his chance to promote his re-election for 1964.If you were alive on Nov 22, 1963 and old enough to remember this day~~you know exactly where you were & doing when this news broke out on all 3 TV stations & radios across the US & world. We have lived in Laurens, S.C. for 14 years. We have heard many stories of this bottle...everything from how many were made ...how many \"extras\" were possibly made...some for employees & management. These left Laurens and were to go to a Canadian Dry plant to be filled in Texas.The day President Kennedy died...LBJ was sworn in to be President of the US on the Presidental plane ready to return to Washington DC. I believe this bottle will go up in value as time goes on. More books have been written on the assassination of President Kennedy than probably any subject since 1963. Odd too to see the Presidental Seal with LYNDON B JOHNSON\'S NAME ON THIS !!!Much speculation still exists on WHO & PERHAPS HOW MANY shooters were involved and many reasons as to the \"Why was he killed??!!\" I am only selling this since I have another bottle like this that I bought from a man in Dallas. For all those interested~~my reserve is $400.00 One sold on not too too long ago for $375.00 plus shipping. All proceeds for this bottle sale will be going to outstanding hospital and doctor bills. I need several more surgeries in the upcoming year~~and this is the only reason for selling this bottle. I am keeping the one I bought from a man in Dallas & paid right in this price range a few years ago. Thanks!
