This is a rare Danish Mid-Century Modern pottery lamp designed by Nils Thorsen for the firm Royal Copenhagen, circa 1960. The lam has a great sgrafitto design of stylized fish swimming around the base of the lamp. Great glazing to this piece complements the classic Scandinavian form. The lamp is approx. 16\" high by 6\" wide with the pottery portion being 12\" by6\". It is in perfect condition and signed with the Royal Copenhagen ink mark as well as the artist\'s cypher.
