- This Rare and Unique DUDLEY No 2 Masonic Pocket Watch in an uncommon 14K White Gold Filled case with clear display back cover is in outstanding condition. The serial number is 2877. The watch runs great, steady and without hesitation. The upgraded Number 2 Model has the silver applied bible and a few other small differences from the basic Number 1 Model. The 14K White Gold Filled Star Watch Co. case is fairly scarce – when seen in a closed back version, or any version for that matter, Dudley watches are almost always in Yellow GF cases. There is no wear, no brassing, no dings or dents to note and no personalizations to the secure but easy opening back cover. The dial is beautiful, all numbers are strong, the Cathedral hands are elegant and the DUDLEY lettering is as new – a beautiful dial – crisp and original. The watch was acquired from a Lancaster, Pa area estate – this region of Pennsylvania was the source of the famous Dudley Masonic watches, produced in Lancaster, Pa. some 80-90 years ago.
