The covers display storage wear, but interior reveals a treasury of historic info and diagrams and all 265 original photographic cigarette cards in superb condition, each neatly placed in its proper window. The presentation and thoroughness make this the most desirable all of the German Cigarette Card books, charting the history of pre-WW1 airship design and development, the various airships of WW1, then the development of post-war airships up until 1932. In addition to the cards, there are also many charts, tables and details documenting the models, engines and interior designs of the cabins, as well as a special on the construction of LZ127.
