Thisplush \"zhentha\" or \"ngakpa\" shawl from Nepalis a very soft and plushy! It is made from 100% yak wool!! I wish I could tell you that I was able to reproduce the precise color of burgundy-rust-red of this shawl, but it wouldn\'t be true. This is a classic deep rust red color, not at all tomato red and no \"pinkish\" overtones. Rather, a deep, rich dark red!

~This shawl actually appears to be hand-woven! The outside edges are less than geometrically perfectly straight, like a hand weave would be, or at least MY hand-weaves are. I have lightened the color in the pictures on the right, above, that show the edging, so that you can better view the detail .Thisunique shawl measures alarge 48 inches by88 inches, plus 2 inches of fringe on each end, for 90 inches total.This translates to 4 feetwide by OVER 7feet long!!! This soft shawl weighs around 1 pound, 7 ounces, unpackaged, so it is no light-weight.~

~The fabric is densely woven with none of the sheerness you sometimes see with the lighter pashmina shawls, though the surface of the fabric is not \"hard\" but is rather soft and fuzzy.Care is easy: hand wash cold, mild detergent, line dry. PLEASE NOTE!I will not accept returns on these shawls unless they are returned to me in exactly the same condition, in exactly the same packaging, with no damage or tearing of the shawl or packaging. I have received several returns where the shawls look worn and the wrapping they come in is totaled. I cannot resell these as new and must take a complete loss for the item!
