An exceptionally pretty genuine Georgian \'REGARD\' ring in the shape of a sweet pansy flower.

This is a rare piece to find on the market today. Even today Regard rings are reproduced but the original items are exceptionally rare.

The word \"regard\" is spelt out in this ring with precious gems... Ruby, Emerald, Garnet, Amethyst, Ruby and Diamond. The stones are all earth mined untreated gems.

What makes this ring a little more special is that it is also in the form of a pansy which meant \"think of me\".

The petals of the pansy are set with the sentimental and beautiful acrostic message. In between these gems and in the center of the flower fine natural pearls have been set as accents.

It is in excellent condition but the diamond is a replacement stone.

This rare piece is made from 12 carat yellow gold with silver used on the top of the ring as was the practice in this era. It weighs 3.46 grams in total.

The piece is entirely handmade.
