These are both marked on the back of the upper bodies with the year 1983\' & 1985\' Doll of the Year and their names

\"Mary The Doll\" is 13 3/4\" First Edition doll. The head, arms and legs are made of the finest hard paste porcelain and hand decorated under glaze. To obtain the subtle flesh color, pure 24 karat gold is used. The porcelain pieces are fitted with finely detailed hand stitched accessories: a silk screened rosebud gown, lace trimmed petticoat and pantalones, an embroidered bonnet and a baby doll.

\"Trine the Doll\" is 13 3/4\" Third Edition doll. Trine is one of the most popular dolls of the series and because of this, she is nearly impossible to find on the secondary market. Locations in Europe which do have her available advertise her asking price in excess of $500.00.
