PAIR OF 2! (I also have 2 more identical fixtures that are not painted yet if you need more.) This loving restored pair of Victorian-style Riddle light fixtures come in ready-to-hang condition! The 90+ year-old fixtures are ready to begin life all over again in your home. Riddle fixtures are among the most sought after lights from the period, mainly because of their fine casting details. The \"bare-bulb\" vintage style is HOT now and these fixtures look fantastic in old homes and lofts. Most fixtures from this era originally came with painted finishes called \"polychrome\", but sadly, these old fixtures had been painted over and had ceiling paint \"slopped\" over the edges. I began the restoration by stripping them down to bare metal to bring out the lovely casting. I then added applied a gold glaze to create an antique-style base and hand-painted the details with rich enamel colors. The last step was to apply two coats of protective lacquer for lasting durability.The fixtures come in READY-TO-HANG condition. The original sockets and heavy cloth wiring was examined and found to be in EXCELLENT shape, so my husband siliconed in the connections around the wires, just as an additional safety precaution. The diameter is 8\", and with bulbs they will hang down approximately 8\" from the ceiling. The reproduction crystal Mazda bulbs are NOT included, but are readily available online or at your local Lowe\'s or Home Depot. We WILL include wire nuts for installation and paint the screw heads to match the finish of the fixtures. Please feel free to message us if you have any questions.
