Amazing overall condition for such a vintage item. We doubt this was actually used as an ashtray but could and may be used as both decor and/or a small tray. Signed in upper corner and marked on back Sascha Brastoff CALIFORNIA USA and handwritten 08. There is a fine hairpin crack as shown in photos seen with magnifier. Minor surface wear on back as you\'d expect. Approximate dimensions: 13 1/4\", x 5 1/8\", x 15/16\" deep.
