RARE Set of 12 Gorham Sterling Silver Demitasse Spoons Pattern #18 c.1885:

This is a very rare complete set of 12 antique sterling demitasse spoons by Gorham in the #18 multiform pattern. Each exquisite spoon features a distinct design, including scrolls, flowers, a basket of fruit, and mythological figures. The bowls of each spoon have a swirled pattern. The reverse sides of the spoons are monogrammed with an Old English \"H\", carry the Gorham hallmark, are marked sterling, and are stamped with the pattern #18. They are in very good antique, estate condition without discernible damage of any kind. They have not been polished and have a lovely soft patina. The spoon with the cherub face is not monogrammed and the bowl is gold washed. Each spoon measures 4 inches long. These spoons were first introduced in the Gorham catalog in 1885. This beautiful and unusual set of demitasse spoons would make wonderful addition to any collection of Gorham souvenir spoons, or antique sterling silver.
