He measures approximately 19 inches tall, and has an unusual \"tipped\" / two-tone mohair coat that consists of soft beige fur with auburn brown tips. The bear\'s striking bright blue eyes give him an especially memorable look. I have seen this limited edition bear for sale elsewhere online for over 500 Great British Pounds (over 800 US dollars) - it is a desirable and hard to find teddy.This bear was produced in 1989, in a limited edition of 5000 pieces - so it is a vintage replica of an antique bear. He has his original paper ID tag still sewn to his chest, and his Steiff ear button and ID tag in his ear. (No original box, no papers.) He has a working growler that makes noise when you tip him backward and forward. He wears a bright red satin ribbon bow around his neck. His nose and claw stitching are done in coral-colored silk floss.The bear\'s fur is very nice and clean, with no shedding or fading; the teddy generally looks bright and fresh and almost like new.
