Here for your consideration is a very rare and unusual Stiletto type dagger that dates somewhere between the 16th and 18th century. Everyone that I have showed this piece to has been completely stumped. Despite having the Moon and Stars inlaid in the handle, this dagger is not Middle Eastern as I have showed it to an expert on Middle Eastern weapons and he was sure this was not it\'s origin, although his opinion was that it has a European origin. This is a very rare dagger that desperately needs to be somewhere where it will be appreciated and taken care of, possibly in a museum. Please use the detailed photos to determine this daggers condition. The dagger is still very solid and the blade is very sharp. There is a slight bend in the tip of the blade that is in line with it piercing a body and striking a bone on it\'s way through.
