Description: In pursuance of a call, issued and endorsed by several Grand Chapters, a convention of representatives was held at Indianapolis, Indiana on November 16, 1876, and the General Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, was organized. A Ritual Committee was appointed, and in 1878 the General Grand Chapter adopted the work, and it was published by its authority. This copy of the \"Ritual of the Order of the Eastern Star\" is certified to be the Ritual as amended at the session of the General Grand Chapter, September 1901.

Condition: This book is over a century old and was lovingly cared for. Thecloth board hardcoverhas aged(see pictures), but the golden gilt lettering is stillbright. The inside pages are in remarkable condition for the age with no tears, no writing, no bent corners, and no loose or missing pages. The book is tightly bound. There is a red top stain. Note:the pages havetanned with age.
