Beautiful gents Rolex reference 6022 with rare super Oyster crown which is a non screw down crown and very rare to find as most have been changed at service to the screw down type.

What really sets this vintage manually wound 1952 6022 off is the black dial with red depth rating which is only found on a small amount of watches in the early to mid 1950s, I have never seen this reference carry a depth rating so this is a pretty unique watch.

The radium on the dial at the ends of the markers has turned dark green, the hands have too.

The dial has natural patina across the surface but for a black dial of this age it has weathered well.

The watch measures 33mm across not including the crown.

I have no box/paperwork or service history but the watch is running well.

The case has wear and marks expected of a watch of this age, all still very presentable.

The watch comes on a brown leather strap with steel buckle, both of which are not Rolex items.

You will certainly not see another.
