Description: Finishing Touches is, as the name implies, a studyof finishing details for hand-woven articles. Included is a study of fringes in all their manifold details - how to secure fringes to keep weft from raveling, how to treat fringe decoratively, how to add fringe, how to weave fringe at the sides of the article on the loom, how to weave narrow fringes on the loom to be attached later, and so on. Also included are ways to join widths of hand-woven material effectively, how to make and attach handles for bags, and new ways to apply embroidery techniques such as Brooks Bouquet, Leno, Danish Medallion, and Spanish Lace.

Condition: This ex-library book is in good to very good condition. There is some wear on the cover (see pictures) and a library sticker. The inside pages have stamps andstickers associated with being a library book.The inside pages are in very good condition with no tears, no writing, no discoloration and no bent corners. There are no loose or missing pages. The binding istight.
