The Antoine Courtois Company was established in 1803
but the first Workshop was already located in 1789, Rue Mazarine - Paris
(in the middle of the French Revolution)
In 1931, the COURTOIS COMPANY, located in Paris 88, Rue des Marais
moved out to settle the Workshops 8, rue de Nancy.
The Antoine Courtois Company was always very well known
for its Instruments\' Quality, up to now.

The Trumpetis signed \"R.Delmotte\" on the leadpipe.
RogerDelmotte was the first trumpetist who won
the Geneve International Trumpet Contest in 1950.

Up to 1986,he was the First Trumpet Soloist at the PARIS OPERA ORCHESTRA.
He was too a teacher at the Versailles Conservatory
as well asat the Lausanne Conservatory.
In 2010,Roger Delmotte was rewarded by
\"theInternational Trumpet Guild\".
This famousreward was only attributed 4 times
toTrumpetists within ...35 years!

The Trumpet has some dents
(easely removeable becauselocatedon the tube above the bell)
some dings and use tracks.

The pistons valves are in a good shape
and move quickly.
The slides are all removeable.
The first trigger and the third slide with the ring
are perfectly working.
The Compression is very good.
Its soundis quite specific to Antoine Courtois trumpets.
The sound is full, round and bright
rather clear as the French trumpets of this period.
