RARE VINTAGE BOSTON & SANDWICH 14-PETAL RED POINSETTIA PAPERWEIGHT w/ MILLEFIORI
This is an outstandingvintage paperweight from the classic period (1850-1870), featuring a beautiful rare14-Petal Red Poinsettia flowerwith a complex Millefiori center cane,on a green stem with 3 leaves over clear ground...made by Boston & Sandwich Glass Company or possibly NEGC.
It measures just over3\" in diameter and just over 2\" high.
Itweighs 1 lb 3.2oz.
I believe this weight has been buffed or polished...it does have one small shallow nick on the edge of the base (showninimage #11 & #12)and a few little fleabites and faint scratches...it has excellent clarity and displays beautifully!
