For saleis a Vintage Buxom Mermaid Gurgling Jug which was made at theDartmouth Factory in Devon in the 1960s.

This lovely rare Gurgling Jug stands 17cms tall, has a treacle brown glaze and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks of any description.

Gurgling Jugs were intended for use as Water Jugs and got their name from the sound they made when liquid was poured from them.

On the base is the \"DARTMOUTH DEVON ENGLAND\" mark which authenticates and dates this very desireable piece.
