Malibu Tile Top TableDescription and Item Information
Up for sale is this vintage tile top end or occasional table. Please excuse any glare in the photos. Set into the top of this table are six colorful Malibu pottery tiles. Each tile is approximately 7 13/16 inches to 7 7/8 inches across each side. This has a rectangular wooden case. The table is approximately 24 5/8 inches long by 16 7/8 inches wide by 18 3/4 inches tall. This would be a wonderful addition to a Spanish revival or mission style decor.Identification
This unsigned table is circa late 1920s. The tiles were made by Malibu Potteries in Malibu, California.Condition
The table looks good overall, with minor wear. The tiles have minor surface wear, and no cracks; under close inspection, I found a few tiny edge nicks (approximately 1/16 inch each). There are a few very small spots of missing grout. The wooden case has some nicks, scuffs, dings, scratches, and finish wear areas. Examples are shown. The table is nice and sturdy. Before merchandise is shipped to a California address (or picked up or delivered within California), sales tax will be collected, unless the buyer provides a valid California resale certificate form by mail (or in person, in the case of pick up or delivery). The buyer must prepay before merchandise is released. Paypal payments over $250 will only be accepted if delivery is to an address with a confirmed status. Due to the size of the merchandise, shipping outside of the contiguous U.S. is not available. Good packaging is included; double-boxing is not included.Greyhound Package Express is available within the lower 48 U.S. states at no cost to the buyer. Using this method, the merchandise travels in the cargo area of a Greyhound bus. The buyer will need to pick this up at a Greyhound Package Express bus station location in their area and delivery will not be to the buyer\'s residence or business. 4.
