What a fantastic find thiswas!!This adorable vintage german black cat Halloween windup toy is just as we could say...\"the cats meow\" !! As we were going thru some moreboxes of holidayitems atan estate we arestill helping with, we came across somemoregreat Halloween items. This wonderful fuzzy black cat toy is in such incredible condition. He was wrapped up in some tissue paper, and as we unwrapped him we at first thought it was just a decoration, they we noticed the windup on his side... and found the little key wrapped up with him. We wound him up and he scoots along in a circle while his head moves back and forth and also his tail wags from side to side..SO CUTE !!The lady we are helping said she never saw this cat before. Her mom passed 20 years ago and this stuff has been stored in her house for like 40 years now,besides how long it was packed at her mothers house. So this poor kitty has been in the dark all this time. Just think what a great addition this would be to your Halloween collection. We believe this to be from the 1930\'s or so. He is in mint condition, doesnt look like he was ever played with. The only thing we can seeis the key is a little rusted but that is it. Such a great piece. He measures 5 long & 6\" high. Comes from a NON-smoking home too..... The green bow around his neck we believe was added on at some time, and it is marked on the right paw on a tag that says \"Made in Germany\". We are all done now with going thru holiday things so make sure to look at our other sales for some really great holiday things that we will be listing.
