This sale is for a rare vintage LeRoy Neiman serigraph titled \"Ice Men\". This framed 1974 serigraph is limited to 300 signed pieces, and this particular piece is #4 of 300, a very low edition number. It measures approximately 38\" by 28\". \"Ice Men\" features the iconic hockey teams New York Rangers and Chicago Black Hawks. Highlighted in the serigraph are legendary hockey stars Bobby Hull and Rod Gilbert.
I\'ve had this piece for about 17 years and have kept it in a climate controlled Environment since I acquired it. It was purchased from the owner of an estate sales liquidation company. The owner had it stored in his garage here in Florida. There are a few issues; however, they can be restored if the winning buyer so desires. There is buckling in the serigraph and some lifting of the ink on some areas of the serigraph (please see photos). If you refer to the last two photos, I\'ve highlighted some of the areas where the ink has lifted or slightly cracked. These spots can be restored if desired, but I am selling this wonderful serigraph as is. Even though there are issues, this serigraph would display wonderfully with its vibrant colors and attention to detail. The retail price of Neiman\'s \"Ice Men\" in mint condition is $4,500.00. I don\'t have a COA, but I have taken the serigraph to a number of shops, antique stores and sports memorabilia shows and have been told that it is authentic. The serigraph was signed in 1974 and the framing and matting (gold and orange), looks right out of the 1970\'s. Check out the bio of Mr. Neiman on the back of the serigraph and see how young he was in the photo.
