RARE VINTAGE LUCITE MIDDLE EasterN FLYING EAGLE CROWN PAPERWEIGHTJORDAN?
OK fellow er\'s - I need help with this one.
Offered is this unique paperweight showing a flying Eagle with a crown above. Writing on the bottom is Middle Eastern. I cannot seem to find an exact logo matching this and I cannot read the writing. The closest I could find was an Emblem for Jordan.
This vintage piece was found at a local estate sale. This area is filled with retired military, government, etc. so I assume this was given as some kind of presentation piece. It measures approx 3 1/2\" X 4 3/4\" x 1 1/8\" THICK. It is in excellent condition - no scratches, etc. comes in original box with top that is covered in a gold middle Eastern floral pattern. Bottom of box shows some shelf wear.
If anyone wants to help me identify this - I will appreciate the help. On the other hand, you certainly won\'t find this at your local store - so a great addition to any collection. I did have a bit of fun with my nephew who has done two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan - I simply showed it to him and said \"Read This.\" He found my confidence in him amazing. LOL
