You are offerding on one of the earlier pull toys manufactured early - 1938 - by FISHER PRICE.
This wood pull toy depicts an ADORABLE dog and is called SNOOPY SNIFFER No. 180 ... the first variation of this adorable toy.
He has excellent ORIGINAL paint coverage and his 4 color lithograph labels/sticks are VERY VIBRANT. For his age he is in FANTASTIC condition.
I have taken closeups - look closely as there would be some expected vintage wear - for his age! His right side \"paws\" (vinyl webbed feet) are missing the stiff plastic on the bottom like the ones on the left side.
No string is attached - however - he does make a noise (woof?) when he is rolled on the floor along with a wagging of his spring tail!
With his original label (no patent number) this makes him a RARE and first version of this pull toy
He books for well over $700+ in the toy collectors catalogs.
He is wooden and measures about 16-1/2\" long x 5-1/4\" high x 6\" wide.He is in all original condition.
Not going to see a nice one like this for awhile!!!!
