LUNCH AT THE RITZ \"Jungle Belt\" Rare and OUTSTANDING. Signature \"Lunch at the Ritz\" stamped/engraved on back of belt. These were in limited production back when I bought it (1993 or 1994). To the best of my knowledge, they do not produce any belts any longer.

Product FYI: This belt is brass with the original design in place then hand painted with enamel, baked thenelectroplated in 24ktgold and decorated with rhinestones (to be specific, all stones are actually Austrian Crystal and Czechoslovakian glass and semi precious beads). The detail is incredible and this is a very hard to find collectible piece. You could have to see in person to know what I mean, it is a really intricate and gorgeous \"glamour & glitz\"fashion statement and one of those once in a lifetime finds.
Condition of Belt: There is nothing to mention except a few areas where there are somestones missing. These can be replaced (or not) you would never notice when wearing because there are so many. I considered sending it to Lunch at the Ritz (ordoing it myself with items from a local craft store) to getthem replaced but decided against it. All the chain parts of belt andanimals are in tact and in great condition...like I said, a few places if you look closely that have missingstones and/or the strand (some of them are a few hanging together/strand) In a piece like this, they aren\'t glued on, each stone and/or strand is connected in a small gold casing so if you desired, you could easilyfill it (or like I said, not) I just know some collecters are particular and if that is you, you could do it yourself orsend this belt to company and get them all replaced.I am sure they have a service like this (they are in NY). The gold chain on the belt isn\'t faded and the back is all gold too. There are scratches on the back side just from wearing/storing...no way around those and they certainly wouldn\'t matter. My point being is with age, the gold part still looks the same. When I got this belt, I worked at a company who carried this line and met the owners who came for a large trunk show. I have pics with both of the ownerswearing this belt :) I would love to keep it but have a totally different lifestyleand no eventswhereI would use it so I thoughtit was time to pass the torchLOL.I learned a lot about the company\'s product and process and was totally impressed and have many pieces that all look really great...after 23 years. Very well made.
