Phil Lambert 1st Indoor Extra Set
(Phil was one of Western Photography Guilds original 12 models in 1947)Images are from the late 1940\'s. This card is probably from some time in the 1950\'ssale is for an original Western Photography Guild Model/Pose card. Set of 4x5 vintage photographs by Colorado photographer Don Whitman. Made on Luster finish fiber base paper are mounted to an 11x14 piece of heavy card stock. This one of a kind card was kept on hand in the WPG office. It identifies which photographs are in this set. It was also used for customers to make selections of prints to order when they came to the office. The photographs were originally mounted using rubber cement. The cement had gone dry over time and the prints were loose and starting to fall off the card. I have re-secured the prints as necessary using a high quality photo safe archival adhesive.The prints are now securely mounted, and cannot be removed from the card.A unique piece of physique photography history. Overall Very Good Condition. Prints excellent condition. Some edge and corner wear. The left side edge shows a lot of wear along about 3/4 of that side. Other sides are not bad at all. Upper right print has a blemish in the backround, seems to be from the time of printing. Some discoloration mainly on the edges of the back of the card. Please take a careful look at the photographs of the card. The images will magnify if you mouse over them.
