RARE Vintage Retro HAMMOND \"Gloria\" Spin to Start Electric Clock Synchronous.Made in USA by the Hammond Clock Co. Chicago Illinois. circa 1933.Spin Start.It has been tested and is in working order including the alarm. It needs a new power cord as the 80 year old original power cord had perished.The glass is split down the middle from 12 to 6 virtually straight down. The bright metal surround has light pitting due to age.This is a rare clock made in the USA with a precision electric mechanism. It is an export model made to operate on Australian voltage & 50Hz cycle and keeps perfect time.To start the clock you need to connect to power and then spin the \"start\" knob on rear and it gets going.Dimensions approx. 11cm x 11cm x 7cm total thickness.3.5 inch diameter face.
