*RARE* Vintage Milk Bottle with \"SUPERIOR DAIRY PRODUCTS -- TINLEY PARK DAIRY -- WE PASTEURIZE TO GUARD YOUR HEALTH\" in red pyro paint on the sides of the bottle(and a saluting toy soldier); and \"One Pint Liquid -- UGP 51 -- Owned And Filled By Tinley Park Dairy -Tinley Park, Ill.\" embossed around bottom edge of bottle. In the center of the circle on the bottom of the bottle it has \"36\" faintly embossed.Here is some information I found out about the dairy on the internet: It started in 1929 when Joseph C. Freberg opened its doors on 67th Court. In 1934, the diary relocated to 7050 171st St. It was later sold to Blue Island Sanitary Dairy, but the plant continued to serve Tinley Park and surrounding communities into the 1950’s. Milk bottles from the dairy were commonly used for BB shooting practice by Tinley Park’s youth. In good condition for its age with signs of wear and use including: surface wear and blemishes; nicks/dings/scratches; residue; etc. Please offer accordingly.
