Beautiful and elegant. Rare estate sale treasure. I listed this as a vintage item, but it could be antique. The Watson Company produced sterling from the 1800\'s until the mid 1900\'s but I was not able to date this pattern. The edge of the sterling rim is stamped with \"Sterling J48\" and has the identifying Watson mark of a crown in a circle, a W in a shield and what appears to be a lion in a circle. The cut glass/crystal is heavy and substantial. This small serving plate can be used for candy, relish, goodies or as a beautiful display. The glass/crystal is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and only minor surface scratches. The sterling is tarnished, but is in excellent condition with no dents. This plate measures a little over 5.5\" across.
