RARE vintage exquisite ornate original Cordey China Co. sculptured roses embossed freeform footed demitasse cup & saucer. Made in Trenton,N.J., dated late 1940\'s to early 1950\'s. Cordey China Co. was created by Boleslaw Cybis form Lithuania. In 1942,he decided to relocate to Trenton,N.J. He produced a new porcelain design called \"Cordey China\". Cordey China is hand painted,highly glazed and unique colorations. Embellished with applied florals. This is a rare Cordey China art piece. Gorgeous freeform demitasse cup & saucer,fabulous sculptured shape,really intended for decorative usage. Beautiful sculptured roses and gold trim. Gold trim has some light wear. Hand painted rose in cup. Some rose petals have light flea bites on tips. Saucer has a repaired chip on edge and a small chip next to it also one leave has some repair to it. No cracks. HARD TO FIND art piece. Great collector\'s find.
