Presented for your consideration is this gorgeous tea cup & saucer made by Meissen in Germany. The set has an ornate oak leaf pattern throughout with gold leaf trim throughout. On the saucer the leaves alternate between white and gold leaf. The cup has the same coloration. Most of the gold leaf is present on the saucer and the exterior of the cup. Beautiful, intricate detailing is showcased throughout the set. Completed with a blue Meissen hallmark is on the bottom of each piece. Guaranteed to be antique and original. Dates between 1800 and 1820. This breathtaking tea cup and saucer would make a wonderful addition to any chine or tea item collection! A must see!The gold leaf is worn onthe inside of the cup and some wear to the gold leaf is on the exterior of the cup as well. No chips or cracks. Overall in EXCELLENT condition for its age. Saucer measures 6\" in diameter. Cup measures 4\" in diameter at the widest point, excluding the handle and 2 3/4\" tall.
