Rare early 20th century enameled iron lavatory \"Avon\" pedestal sink, Wolff manufacturing co., Chicago, il - This remarkable antique american pedestal sink was offered in Wolff\'s 1908 general catalog. The sink was salvaged from a hunting lodge in Michigan in the 60\'s. It measures 31\" tall x 28\" wide x 19\" deep. The sink has a wide apron on each side. the pedestal base is detachable tapered and fluted. The sink and pedestal base are sound and stable but the porcelain needs to be restored. I think the handles have been replaced before 1960. The Wolff catalog shows different hardware The existing faucets could be refinished along with the the nickel plated cast brass drain. Some pipe and copper tubing remain. Please see pictures. This sink weights well over 100 pounds. If you want to arrange shipping I will do what I can to help.
