Up for sale is this beautiful and rare WMF IKORA art deco pot with lid made by the WÜRTTEMBERGISCHE METALLWAREN FABRIK in GERMANY around 1920 -1930. The brass made bowl has a gorgeous handcrafted turquoise green and black abstract decoration to the outside and is silverplated inside, possibly a design by Paul Haustein. At the bottom it is marked WMF IKORA towermark and additional it bears a paperlabel with no. 31, early model or for a limited edition. After years it stays in a very good and fabulous of vintage original condition with minor wear consumerate with age and use, no dents . It is 10 cm / 3.94 in. tall and has a width of approx. 15 cm / 5.91 in..This one of a kind piece is a sought after and comparable to the dinanderie pieces made by CHRISTOFLE, FRANCE.
