RCAMODEL 66X7 BLACK CATALIN tube radio circa 1946. Radio measures 15 x 9 1/4 x 7 1/4 at he knobs, it is a big one. Black catalin cabinet is PERFECT, no cracks, hairlines, stress lines, PERFECT! Cabinet is a very bold, striking, MACHINE AGE design, very modernistic for the time. Radio has a perfect, original reverse painted, twin light tuningdiallense and original maroon grill cloth as well as original knobs. Radio was electronically restored when I got it, and I have it going on 20 years. It tunes and plays PERFECTLY, loud and clear, no hum. AM frequencies and SHORT WAVE with connection of external antenna. Radio has been kept clean and out of direct light. Also polished regularly. Cabinet is brilliantly glassy and mirror like as you can tell from the pictures, highly reflective. Radio does not have original back but retro fit ones are available if you want.
